โšก Why Is This More Than Just a Testosterone Test?

๐Ÿงช While testosterone confirms whether your dose is effective, other markers are essential to ensure treatment remains safe.

This test also monitors:

๐Ÿฉธ Full Blood Count โ€“ TRT can increase red blood cells (haematocrit), which needs monitoring to reduce risk of complications :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

๐ŸŒธ Oestradiol โ€“ testosterone can convert into oestrogen, which may lead to side effects if levels become too high :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

๐Ÿงช Liver & Kidney Function โ€“ ensures organs are coping well with treatment

โค๏ธ Cholesterol Profile โ€“ TRT can influence cardiovascular risk factors

๐Ÿฆ‹ Thyroid Function โ€“ thyroid health can affect hormone balance and symptoms

๐Ÿ”ฅ CRP (Inflammation) โ€“ helps assess underlying inflammation

๐Ÿ’ก Clinical guidance shows that TRT monitoring should include multiple markers โ€” not just testosterone โ€” to assess safety, effectiveness and overall health. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
