🩺 Have been advised to monitor renal function

📊 Want a focused kidney health check

📌 This test provides kidney and electrolyte marker information only and does not diagnose kidney disease on its own.

⚡ Why Are These Markers Important?

🫘 Urea and Creatinine are waste products that help assess how well the kidneys are filtering the blood.

📊 eGFR estimates kidney filtration rate and is one of the key markers used to assess kidney function.

💧 Sodium, Potassium, Chloride and Bicarbonate are electrolytes that help maintain fluid balance, nerve function, muscle function and acid-base balance.

💡 Together, these markers provide a focused overview of kidney function, hydration status and electrolyte balance.

🔍 How Is This Different from a Full Biochemistry & Haematology Blood Test?

The Advanced Kidney / Renal Function Blood Test is a focused test looking specifically at kidney function and electrolytes.

This test focuses on:

🫘 Kidney filtration markers

💧 Electrolytes and fluid balance

📊 eGFR kidney function estimate

The Full Biochemistry & Haematology Blood Test also includes:

🩸 Full Blood Count

🧪 Liver function markers
