😴 Fatigue or symptoms linked to deficiency

🦋 Possible thyroid-related symptoms

📌 Hair loss can have multiple causes. This test helps assess some of the most common contributing factors.

⚡ Why Are These Markers Important for Hair Loss?

💪 Testosterone, Free Testosterone and FAI help assess androgen levels. Elevated androgens may be linked to hair thinning in some individuals.

🧪 SHBG helps regulate how much active hormone is available in the body.

📊 Prolactin may influence hormone balance and, when elevated, can contribute to hair changes.

🦋 TSH, Free T3 and Free T4 assess thyroid function. Both underactive and overactive thyroid conditions can affect hair growth and hair quality.

🩸 Ferritin reflects iron stores. Low iron levels are a well-recognised factor in hair thinning and excessive shedding.

💊 Vitamin B12 is important for red blood cell production and overall hair and tissue health.

🧪 CRP is a marker of inflammation, which may be relevant in some hair loss conditions.

📋 Full Blood Count (FBC) provides a general overview of blood health and can help identify underlying issues such as anaemia.

💡 Together, these markers help build a broader picture of hormonal, nutritional and health factors that may contribute to hair loss.
