⚡ Why Are These Markers Important?

🩸 Full Blood Count helps assess blood cells and may highlight issues such as anaemia, infection or inflammation.

🫘 Kidney function and electrolytes help assess hydration, salt balance and how well the kidneys are working.

🧪 Liver function tests provide information about liver health, bile flow and protein production.

💪 CK and LDH are enzymes that may be raised with muscle or tissue stress.

🦴 Calcium, phosphate and uric acid provide information about bone, mineral and metabolic health.

📊 Glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides help assess metabolic and cardiovascular risk factors.

🧲 Iron and total iron binding capacity help assess iron status, which may be relevant to tiredness and anaemia.

💡 Together, these markers give a useful snapshot of multiple body systems in one blood test.
